Is Memoir a digital photo frame or a smart display?

Neither. Memoir is a distraction-free E-Ink display designed only to show selected memories. It does not run apps, send notifications, or behave like a smart screen.

Can Memoir play videos or fast slideshows?

No. Memoir displays still images only, with optional slow changes. This keeps the experience calm and closer to printed photography.

Why does Memoir use E-Ink instead of a regular screen?

E-Ink feels like paper. It emits no blue light, causes no eye strain, and stays visible in bright rooms. It allows Memoir to remain always on without feeling like a screen.

How often do images change?

That is fully controlled by you. Some people change images daily. Others keep the same memory for weeks or longer.

Does Memoir need to stay connected to the internet?

No. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are used only during setup or when updating photos. Once uploaded, Memoir works independently.

Is Memoir easy for elderly users or children?

Yes. After a one-time setup, there is nothing to operate. No menus, gestures, or interaction required.

What happens if the battery runs out or power is lost?

The last image remains visible. E-Ink holds the image even without power.

Where can I place Memoir?

On a desk, mounted on a wall, attached to a refrigerator, or held in hand. The display is detachable and designed to move naturally around the home.
